Is SIGNAL free?

Yes. The SIGNAL web player and apps are free to use. You only need your own IPTV playlist.

Does SIGNAL include TV channels?

No. SIGNAL is a media player. It does not provide, host or sell any channels. You add a playlist (M3U link, .m3u file or Xtream Codes login) from your provider.

What is an M3U playlist?

An M3U or M3U8 file is a simple text list of stream links with channel names, logos and groups. Most IPTV providers give you an M3U link that you can paste into SIGNAL.

Why does a channel not play in the browser?

Browsers only play streams that allow web playback (CORS) and use web friendly formats like HLS or MPEG-TS. If a stream is blocked, use the free SIGNAL app for Android or Android TV, which plays almost every format.

Do I need an account?

No. An account is optional. With a free account your playlists and favorites sync between the web player and your devices.

Is the TV guide (EPG) supported?

Yes. SIGNAL reads XMLTV guides, including the url-tvg link inside many playlists, and shows what is on now and next.
